As Occupational Therapists specialising in mental health, we offer both in-room sessions at our practice and mobile services within certain areas. We can travel to your home, work, school or community to provide the services and practical support you need to fulfil your life roles and optimise your functioning at any phase of your recovery.
Director, Occupational Therapist
Cath is a skilled and experienced individual and group therapist with a strong focus on psychosocial rehabilitation and recovery. She is an intuitive and empathic practitioner who engages her clients on a practical level to address the overwhelm of maintaining emotional, psychological and social wellbeing.
With a strong emphasis on behavioural activation, and establishing healthy habits, routines and structures - Cath works particularly well with clients who are looking for a change and are motivated to transcend the status quo. She offers a gentle holding space to explore possibilities, active engagement in healthy practices, and establishing accountability structures to ensure follow through.
As a self-employed mother and wife, she knows the importance of a balanced lifestyle and is dedicated to implementing the strategies and tools that she teaches in her own life. Her favourite activities include hiking, swimming, board games, reading and travelling.
Occupational Therapist
Jordyn is a compassionate and holistic therapist with a strong commitment to individual and community mental health. She connects easily with clients of all ages, with a particular focus on adolescents and young adults navigating emotional and developmental challenges.
Her work is grounded in trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, and identity-affirming principles. She supports clients in building emotional regulation, self-expression, and practical skills for participation in meaningful roles and routines. Jordyn creates spaces where clients feel seen, valued, and supported in their growth and healing.
Drawing from a background in occupational science, she integrates expressive arts, somatic experiencing, mindfulness, and evidence-based approaches. Her clinical experience includes addiction recovery, neurodivergence, and mood, personality, and behavioural disorders.
Jordyn is dedicated to ongoing learning and blends emerging therapeutic tools with creativity and compassion. She is especially passionate about inclusive practice that honours the voices of queer, BIPOC, and other marginalised individuals.
Outside of therapy, Jordyn enjoys spending time in nature, practicing yoga, engaging in creative expression, and finding playfulness in everyday moments.
Occupational Therapist
Minkateko is a dedicated occupational therapist and facilitator with a deep passion for enabling people to thrive, engage meaningfully in their environments, and walk alongside them on their journeys toward purposeful living and overall wellbeing.
She has a special interest in both individual and community mental health, with a strong understanding of the vital role that our everyday contexts—where we live, work, and play—have on our mental and emotional health.
Her practice is grounded in a trauma-informed approach, with a focus on the mind-body connection and how this awareness can support regulation, resilience, and recovery. Her work centres on preventative mental health care, anxiety and stress management, and workplace and organizational wellbeing.
She brings a warm, empowering, and strengths-based approach to her therapy, facilitation, and training, helping others to understand themselves and their experiences through a lens of compassion and curiosity.
Minkateko enjoys spending her time in nature, hiking or gardening, enjoying good food and engaging in a variety of creative crafts.
At our practice, we focus on helping you feel more capable, confident, and supported in everyday life — whether you’re dealing with mental health challenges, navigating a tough time, or trying to reconnect with yourself and your purpose.
We use a practical, client-centred approach that builds on your strengths and meets you where you are. Our sessions are hands-on and tailored to your real-life needs — at home, at work, at school, or in the community.
We support people facing a wide range of challenges, including:
Anxiety, depression and burnout
ADHD and Autism Spectrum conditions
Bipolar disorder and personality disorders
Eating disorders and complex trauma
Cognitive decline
Schizophrenia and schizo-affective disorder
Whether you’re struggling with emotions, focus, memory, motivation or managing your everyday routine — you are not alone. We’ll work alongside you to figure out what’s getting in the way, and help you build the tools and confidence to move forward.
When mental health conditions are more complex, we also work closely with your broader care team — including your psychiatrist, psychologist, GP, support worker or family — to make sure your care is coordinated, consistent, and well-supported.
We draw from a range of evidence-based models and approaches to guide your therapy. These help us understand what’s affecting your well-being and how to support change in ways that feel manageable and meaningful.
Some of the approaches we use include:
The Model of Human Occupation – looks at how your habits, motivation, environment and routines affect your day-to-day life.
The Model of Creative Ability – supports growth in small, achievable steps, building your capacity over time.
The Person-Environment-Occupation (PEO) Model – helps us explore how you interact with your surroundings and the things you do every day.
The Recovery Model – focuses on hope, meaning, and building a life worth living, even while managing ongoing challenges.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) – helps you shift unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours.
Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) – teaches tools for handling strong emotions and improving relationships.
Mindfulness-based stress reduction – offers ways to manage stress and stay present in the moment.
Polyvagal Theory – helps us understand your nervous system and find strategies to calm and regulate it.
Sensory integration and modulation – explores how your body responds to things like sound, light, or movement, and how to use that awareness to feel more in control.
Gestalt Therapy Principles – support self-awareness and working with thoughts, feelings and body experiences in the here and now.
Occupational Justice – recognises your right to meaningful activity and access to support, no matter your background or situation.
You don’t need to know or choose any of these models yourself — we’ll guide you, choosing what fits best for you.
We offer sessions in two ways:
At our practice room in Plumstead
As mobile sessions (within certain areas/ depending on availability) — in your home, workplace, school, or community setting
Online — via secure video call, for clients who prefer remote support or live outside our travel range
This flexibility means we can meet you where you feel most comfortable — and work together in the spaces that matter most to you.
If you're looking for practical, real-world support that’s grounded in compassion, evidence, and a deep respect for your journey — we’re here to walk that path with you.
