This is not a quick fix, a drop-in group, or a self-paced course.

What A Year of Becoming Is

A Year of Becoming is the primary way to experience the Healing Spaces Method.

Over 12 months, you will be guided through a process that supports:

  • nervous system regulation

  • emotional awareness and resilience

  • meaningful daily rhythms

  • integration of insight into real life

Over time, this process is supported and deepened through a dedicated integration retreat, where the work is given space to settle and take root.

How the Journey Is Held

The year is intentionally shaped to include both ongoing weekly practice and a shared point of in-person integration.

Weekly Live Group Sessions (on Zoom)

You’ll take part in weekly facilitated group sessions, held live on Zoom.

These sessions are:

  • experiential rather than lecture-based

  • grounded in therapeutic and trauma-informed principles

  • structured, but responsive to the group

Sessions include:

  • guided principles and practices

  • gentle input

  • creative and embodied exploration

  • space for integration and meaning-making

You are always invited — never required — to share what feels right for you.

A Year of Becoming Resource Hub (Private Course Space)

You’ll have access to a private online tool box that supports the journey throughout the year.

This includes:

  • orientation and guidance on how to engage with the Method

  • an overview of The Year of Becoming framework

  • pillars and principles to support focus and integration

  • session replays and resources

  • reflection prompts and practical tools

The resource hub exists to support the live work, not replace it.

Private WhatsApp Group

Each intake has its own private WhatsApp group, facilitated with clear boundaries.

This space is used for:

  • gentle reminders

  • short reflective prompts

  • a sense of connection between sessions

It is intentionally low-volume and optional.

The Integration Retreat

A 2-night in-person retreat to consolidate and deepen the work

As part of A Year of Becoming, participants are invited to a 2-night integration retreat held during the year’s journey.

Rather than marking a beginning or an end, the retreat serves as a shared point of consolidation — offering time and space to pause, reflect, and deepen the work in an embodied way.

Depending on your intake, the retreat may be experienced earlier or later in the year. This is intentional. The work you bring to the retreat, and the work you carry forward from it, will be shaped by where you are in your own process.

The focus of the retreat is not on learning something new, but on integration.

During this time, we will:

  • reflect on what has been emerging in the work

  • consolidate practices and insights developed through the Method

  • explore how this work is living in everyday life

  • reconnect with self and others in a grounded, embodied way

The retreat is held with the same care, pacing, and guiding principles that shape the rest of the program.

All retreat facilitation and materials are included in the monthly cost of the program.

Travel, accommodation, and meals are not included, allowing participants to make choices that best suit their needs and circumstances. Further details about the retreat location and logistics will be shared during the year.

The retreat is not a separate event, but an integrated part of the year’s process, supporting both what has come before and what continues afterward.

    A single upfront payment of R24000 for those who prefer to settle their commitment at the start
