Welcome to the Programme Orientation section of A Year of Becoming.
This section is here to help you understand the heart of the programme before we begin moving through the weekly content together.
You do not need to memorise everything.
You do not need to understand the whole method perfectly before we begin.
This section simply gives you a gentle overview of:
what A Year of Becoming is
why the programme has been structured in this way
the Healing Spaces Method
the four pillars
the ten guiding principles
the practice cycle we will return to throughout the year
how this work gradually becomes part of everyday life
Think of this section as your map.
The map is not the journey itself, but it can help you feel more oriented as the journey begins.
As you read through this section, you are invited to notice what feels familiar, what feels new, what feels hopeful, and what feels important for this season of your life.
There is no pressure to rush.
Begin gently.
The weekly live group sessions are the central rhythm of A Year of Becoming.
These sessions are where we gather as a group to learn, reflect, practise, share, and integrate the Healing Spaces Method into everyday life.
You do not need to arrive with perfect insight.
You do not need to have completed everything perfectly during the week.
You do not need to know exactly what to say.
You are invited to arrive as you are.
Each week will offer a steady space to pause, reconnect, and return to the process.
The live sessions are designed to support:
learning the Healing Spaces Method
reflecting on your own patterns and experiences
practising small tools and rituals
hearing from others in the group
building gentle accountability
integrating insight into daily life
returning when life interrupts your rhythm
The value of the weekly sessions is not only in the content.
It is also in the repetition.
Each week, we return to the work.
Each week, we practise noticing.
Each week, we create space for reflection, choice, and small steps forward.
You are encouraged to attend as consistently as possible, while also remembering that this is a year-long process. If you miss a session or lose rhythm, you are invited to return gently.
